“If you live a long life and get to the end of it without ever once having felt crushingly depressed, then you probably haven’t been paying attention.”
At seven, a young boy writes a list of every brilliant thing in the world for his suicidal mother, in hopes that it will convince her to continue living. In this wondrously healing script, Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe bring us through a journey of one man's experience of life in all its heartbreak and beauty. A truly one-of-a-kind show, it brings audiences into the world of our protagonist - where they act, sing, and breathe life into the play. Ultimately, it is a celebration of the little things that make life worth living.
